Steeple Run is located between the Village of Lisle and the City of Naperville and is made up of 427 individual homes and 48 condominiums. Steeple Run was developed by Realty Company of America, Inc. (Realcoa) in 1972. We have over 19 acres of common area for general recreation. These include the clubhouse, swimming pool, tot lot and one retention pond for fishing. We do not allow swimming or boating in the lake.
Each homeowner is automatically a member of the homeowners association. A board of directors as set forth in the covenants and bylaws manages the affairs of the community. This board consists of 11 directors elected by the community. Each director is elected for a 3-year term on a rotating basis. The officers of the board are elected by the board to serve a one-year term.
The Council meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the clubhouse. All residents are invited to attend.
All rules are regulations of the Community have been set forth under the guidelines of the Covenants, Conditions, Easements and Restrictions and By Laws, a copy of which is enclosed in your "Welcome Packet." Please become familiar with the contents and keep it handy as you may need to refer to it from time to time. Additional or replacement copies can be purchased at the clubhouse for a $30.00 fee.
As stipulated in the By Laws, each homeowner is required to pay the annual assessment which is used to maintain all Community properties and to support all functions and activities sponsored by the Council. A detailed budget of expenditures is submitted annually by the Board and is published in the Steeple Run Views newsletter.
As a part for the Steeple Run Community, residents are entitled to all privileges. These privileges include the Clubhouse, swimming pool and pond for fishing. A resident's privileges are recognized when their assessments are deemed current by the Board of Directors.

There are features that make ownership of a Steeple Run home different from traditional forms of home ownership. First is that you share ownership of common land and have access to common facilities. Another is that you automatically become a member of the community association with all other homeowners, and as such must abide by association rules. An additional feature is that you will pay an annual assessment that is used for upkeep of the common areas and assets.
